
Role Overview

As our Digital Content and Social Media Marketer, you'll play a dual role: capturing and editing compelling video content, and actively engaging with our online audience to generate leads and set appointments. Your work will be central to driving growth and establishing Simple Details as the go-to for automotive protection and detailing services.

Core Responsibilities
Videography & Editing:
- Capture high-quality video content of services, behind-the-scenes footage, and customer experiences.
- Edit and produce engaging short-form and long-form videos optimized for social media (Reels, TikToks, YouTube, etc.).
- Maintain an organized library of raw footage and edited content to support ongoing campaigns.
- Collaborate with the CEO + Marketing team to brainstorm and execute video content strategies that align with our brand voice and objectives.
Social Media Engagement & Sales Support:
- Initiate and respond to direct messages across all active social media platforms (YouTube & TikTok, etc.).
- Proactively engage with comments and conversations to foster brand loyalty and drive interest in our services.
- Generate qualified sales leads through authentic social interactions and set appointments for the sales team.
- Track all engagement and sales-related activities in the CRM / tracker to ensure full visibility and follow-up.
- Collaborate with the Sales and Operations teams to ensure a seamless transition from online conversations to in-person consultations.
Expected Results
Videography & Editing KPIs for YouTube:
- 10+ short-form videos (YouTube Shorts) posted per week that highlight services, behind-the-scenes work, and customer experiences.
- Post a minimum of 2 high-quality, long-form videos per week (e.g., 5-10 minutes covering detailed service walkthroughs, customer testimonials, or behind-the-scenes processes).
- Maintain an average monthly view count growth of at least 15% by optimizing titles, thumbnails, and descriptions for SEO and engaging content.
- Achieve a minimum 50% average video retention rate (indicating that viewers are engaged and watching at least half of the videos).
- Respond to 100% of YouTube comments within 24 hours to nurture relationships and encourage further engagement.
- Drive a minimum of 5 qualified leads per month directly from YouTube content (measured by clicks to the consultation booking page or inbound inquiries that reference YouTube as the source).
- Grow follower count by at least 10% month-over-month, ensuring continuous reach expansion in the local automotive enthusiast community.
- Content library: Organize and label 100% of raw footage weekly to ensure easy retrieval and repurposing.
Videography & Editing KPIs for Tiktok:
- Post a minimum of 5+ high-quality TikToks per week (mix of behind-the-scenes footage, educational content about PPF/Ceramic Coating/Tint, and customer transformation videos).
- Achieve an average 7%+ engagement rate (likes, comments, shares) on posts to ensure content resonates with your target audience.
- Secure at least 5 direct leads per week from TikTok (tracked via direct inquiries or mentions in booked consultations).
- Grow follower count by at least 10% month-over-month, ensuring continuous reach expansion in the local automotive enthusiast community.
- Respond to 100% of relevant comments and DMs within 24 hours to create a high-touch, white-glove brand presence.
Social Engagement KPIs:
- Respond to 100% of inbound DMs and comments within 1 hour (within business hours) and 24 hours after business hours.
- Initiate at least 20 new direct messages per week to potential customers, following an authentic, value-first approach.
- Book a minimum of 5 appointments per week directly from social media engagement (inbound or outbound).
- Achieve at least 15 units sold per month (target: 27-39 units sold for bonus commissions; 40+ for high-performance bonus).
- Weekly social media metrics report: Provide clear data on number of messages sent, replies made, appointments booked, units sold, and engagement rates.
Requirements
- Proven experience in videography, video editing, and social media management (portfolio required).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills — written and spoken.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with social media algorithms and best practices for engagement and conversions.
